[Weirdo Fights! Ep.1]

WHOAH!

I do animations myself (won't show nothing in the ol' profile), and I know how hard explosions are to animate! Excelent job on that part. What was good was the lack of unessasry sound; no annoying loud music in the back or anything. However, rid yourself of the bleeps- this is Newgrounds, nobody blinks an eye at that sort of thing. Graphics were a BIT simplistic, nothing really bad (just nitpicking, didn't like like your character's figure. Thin limbs make me think of Sonic, which sadly makes me think of crappy fanboy flash); however, overall nice job! The animation is uber-fluid! Besides that, you have a kick-ass sense of humor, and know how to do this sort of thing. The future of N00bs is starting to look better. Yaay, hope this gets Frontpage. <3

I love nitpickers, they help make the next flash better! I thought Weirdo would be mistaken for Goku, not Sonic... LOL! But thats how he looks like. I drew him ever since 6th grade so much, that Weirdo now sounds like a real name to me and not a put down. I'll try to change Weirdo a little so can be more appealing. Thanks again!

Why wasn't this on Frontpage?

Why has it slunk away, to only have a measly amount of reviews? Why isn't thirstforchicken a household name? And most importantly, why wasn't this featured on Frontpage? Somethings screwy here...
Are frame-by-frame animators opressed on Newgrounds?
All I know, is that every week, Tom or Wade needs to do a searchlight for awsome flash, so that the Frontpage isn't the only place for fame. It would overturn some FANTASTIC animation/authors. Poor thirtstyforchicken. ; ;

Well if you think about it, frame by frame animators really aren't "oppressed" on Newgrounds. Just look at Dan Paladin or Adam Phillips, some of the most popular animators on Newgrounds. Take a look at the Top 50 and you'll see that frame by frame animators really do get their appreciation.
Aaaanyways....this here movie was done in about three days at a very low level of quality and I'm not really proud of it. Plus....I just started animating. Once I make something impressive then uh. It'll be impressive. :D

[A Boy & His Vision Quest]

I liked it. It deserved Front Page.

But I really don't think you caught the essence of the story you were trying to tell. I don't think, personally, that it should have run off with daily second place, anyway. You relied heavily on seperate animations for the backrounds, which besides being destracting, looked really shabby sometimes. Some of your art was really nice, and the character design was top-notch. But the overall animation felt surprisingly lifeless compared to your expertly told story. And, for any part where I started to really get into the movie, I feel the way you did the berries detracted from it horribly. But, ah, that's just me being a stupid nitpicker. On the plus side, wow. I have never seen a high ranking animator as nice as you, besides the possible exeption of Adam Phillips. You responded to nearly every review in the start, something I view VERY highly in, well, pretty much anyone on NG. Synj, -knox- and the rest of the 'Royal Crew' up there having their boots licked hardly say anything to us mere mortals :) . On behalf of my friend, and many others who you gave friendly words back to. So, besides your animation which I think you could touch up a bit, kudos. Good to see that there is still fresh talent coming to Newgrounds, and keeping alive with revolution of 13-18 year old animators that it has started. Hell yes.

When a horrible tragedy like this movie happens, it is only Piconjo's love that holds us together. No matter how much you mock him and slander him, no matter how much shit you give him, Piconjo still <3's j00. Sorry. I voted five, and it tore me to bits on the inside. I voted all tens, and I hope Piconjo forgives me (I know he will); this movie is terrible, but it brought us, the Piconjonites together. I, Piconjo, LF and all j00 Toadies out there <3 j00. Even if they don't know it yet.
